We’ve all heard that saying, “If you want to make the Deity of your choice, laugh, make plans.”
I had a plan and then all hell broke loose.
Over the past few months, I’ve taken a hiatus to allow me to spend quality time with my husband as his health declines. I want to be present with him without worrying about deadlines.
We’re about halfway through. This is one process I don’t want to rush because when it’s over, I will have lost not only my book-worthy boyfriend turned husband, but my real life happily ever after.
To help me keep my sanity, I have been writing when he naps. Some of it is therapeutic journaling, and some of it is working on the books I’d planned. I currently have three new series mostly written and partially edited. I expect to have more before I begin publishing again.
As the terminator said, “I’ll be back.” I haven’t forgotten you.
