New Computer and New Coffee Maker

Now, I know you’ere wondering why these two purchases are highlighting this week’s post.

Then again, if you’re anything like me, you’re wondering why they aren’t in bold lettering and have fireworks going off in the background. They are both items vital to life as we know it.

Our coffee maker was on it’s last legs. It’s one of those fancy soda fountain types that you just put your mug up to the lever and the spout fills your cup. The coffee stream had become a trickle.

I guess we, (and by ‘we’, I mean ‘I’) wore out the mechanism.  Oopsie.

I’m happy to say the replacement (same style because I love it) takes 6 seconds to fill my over-sized mug instead of nearly thirty seconds.

I also bought a new laptop. My old one worked, but not well. As soon as I opened my photo program to create a book promotion highlighting a set of yummy abs, the whole system slowed to a trickle… just like my old coffee maker.

Today, is a banner day. Coffee in seconds and the new laptop makes me feel like I’m flying. WHEE!!

Today, I’m making some tweaks to Isolated Complications. Mostly poor comma placement and sadly a few missing words. So Ill beg forgiveness from anyone who has read this book and noticed. Plus, I’m adding an epilogue through Book Funnel.

Having a series wrap up wasn’t enough so I’m taking your request to heart and peeking into the future for these characters. I’m actually excited about it.

Have a great week, and I’ll touch base with you next time.

Cheers,
